Office of The Registrar
The Human Resource Development division of the Office of the Registrar was set up for the following objectives:
- To implement Sistem Saraan Malaysia-SSM (Malaysia Remuneration System) and Penilaian Tahap Kecekapan-PTK (Competency Level Assessment) in a systematic and effective manner.
- To coordinate and monitor all panels and committees under SSM.
- To make available the rules, regulations, statutes, circulars and guidelines on matters pertaining to services and recruitments.
- To maintain and update the Employee Information System.
- To implement policies and provide opportunities for training and development.
Functions
The Human Resource Development division is responsible for the following:
Recruitments: publishes job advertisements, manages interviews, determines remuneration packages
Assessments and examinations: coordinates courses and examinations for Competency Level Assessment, coordinates induction course and examination for new employees, coordinates examinations for government servants
Training: identifies training needs of employees, conducts in-house and external trainings
Employee service records: maintains and updates employee service records as needed
