Center for Foundation and Continuing Education (PPAL)


Introduction

  

Center for Foundation and Continuing Education (PPAL) is established to provide high-level fundamental and liberal knowledge and also to refine students' soft skills in order to produce well-rounded UMT students. In addition, PPAL has been given the responsibility to create and manage university core courses (TU) and university elective courses (EU) for students to complete as their graduation requirements. PPAL is also committed to promote lifelong learning ecosystem for all stakeholders and implementing Executive Education Programme (PPE) to support the University's idea of financial sustainability through smart partnerships.

There are five (5) departments in PPAL, namely:

         1. Department of Language and Communication,
         2. Department of Basic Knowledge and Liberal Studies,
         3. Department of State and Civilization, and
         4. Co-curricular Center, and
         5. English Learning Center
