A programme established to meet the country’s growing demand for professional manpower in occupational safety, health and environmental management (OSH & EHS), in line with the rapid development of the industrial sector. The increasing industrial and technological activities require more systematic risk management to address occupational accidents, occupational diseases and environmental pollution.
The programme aims to produce competent graduates who are able to identify, assess and control occupational risks, as well as apply environmental technologies to ensure regulatory compliance and sustainable practices. Its establishment is aligned with OSHMP5, the Twelfth Malaysia Plan (RMK-12) and the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030, while supporting the amendments to the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2022 to sustainably enhance graduate employability.
