As Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) celebrates its Silver Jubilee, this edition of the UMT Newsletter marks an important milestone in the university’s journey of growth, achievement, and service. Over the past 25 years, UMT has evolved from a young institution into a recognized center of excellence, particularly in marine science and ocean studies, helping to advance the nation’s Blue Economy agenda.
