  • PROGRAMME INFORMATION

A foundational programme in the field of fisheries that is competitive and capable of providing knowledge and educational infrastructure to support the dissemination and application of innovative practices, while serving as a catalyst for human capital development and sustainable environmental management.

The programme also produces graduates who are qualified to pursue degree-level studies at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu or other higher education institutions.

TEMPOH PENGAJIAN

4 Semester
2 Tahun

  • CORE COURSES

Fisheries Science, Fishing Technology, Fisheries Biology & Biotechnology, Fisheries Ecosystem & Aquaculture, Fish Population Dynamics, Fish Nutrition, Aquatic Product Processing, Entrepreneurship, Fish Breeding Techniques, Recreational Fisheries, Fisheries Resource Management, Principles of Aquaculture, Swimming & Water Safety.

  • PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS

SPM (Current Year / Non-Current Year)

  1. Obtain at least Grade C in Mathematics.
  2. Obtain at least Grade E in English.
  3. Obtain at least Grade A in Science.

Obtain at least Grade C+ in any two (2) elective subjects from the following categories:
• STEM Applied Science & Technology / Vocational Subjects
• Applied Arts & Humanities Electives
• Language Electives
• Islamic Studies Electives

OR

Obtain at least Grade C in ONE (1) of the following subjects:
• Chemistry / Physics / Biology

AND

Obtain at least Grade C in any TWO (2) additional subjects not previously taken into account.
